My 9-yeard old daughter told me what happened, and she repeated the colourful language too, but with her own version of ‘expletives deleted’.
Now whatever else I’ve said about my ex, I have to say that she is integration personified. She can straddle the divide between cultures seamlessly.
A passenger behind her was talking loudly into her mobile phone about sex. Quite graphically apparently. (My 9-year old had to spell out ’s-e-x’). The ex asked her to not talk so loudly and graphically about sex because there were clearly young children near her.
To which her retort was “You’re the type of fucking paki blowing up this country, so fuck off”. Nobody came to the defence of a mother with her young daughters. It’s official. We are now in Nazi Britain. Nice.
By the way, that racist woman who vented her bile without anyone on the bus speaking up to defend my kids or their mother? She was black. Obviously a True Londoner.

That kid who was killed in Liverpool on Saturday was black wasn’t he? What do you reckon the chances are that the murderers who did that were mouthing off about the bombings? Pretty high I reckon.
I made the original comment about chips on shoulders and I may not have made it properly. What I was getting at is that this kind of nastinness is not going to be directed just at Asians. When open season is called on Hate, lots of other groups are going to get caught up as well.
And as for a black person behaving that way, there’s a personal temptation to make a cheap shot like ‘gosh, I thought only white people were racist’ and that would be me being ‘chippy’.

If a black kid being killed on the street gets prominent place in the news, there is a reason. It may have been harder to ignore him with an axe embedded in his skull.
But that isn’t it. Read the report. Don’t need to read too far in. He had a WHITE GIRLFRIEND.

Of course, one of the reports even commented that he was a “good Christian boy”. If he had been brown - remember a man was killed recently for being a paki in Nottingham as part of the paki-bashing-reprisals - can you imagine them saying he was a “good Muslim boy”?
The media are complicit partners in the “race war”.
Stef has a point when mentioned the open season on hate, it kind of lowers the bar for evil somewhat, but the primary targets will still be pakis and Muslims.
Funny how our police services and media could find and nail the suspects for 7/7 in three days flat, but we still can’t put away the known killers of Stephen Lawrence, years after we know who killed them. Where were the media then? Did they print up the names of the scum who were arrested and say “THE FACES OF EVIL” and order their deaths?

Station ‘terror’ suspect released
A man arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act at Stockport station has been released without charge.
The 25-year-old from Middlesex was detained on Sunday evening after he was reported to be acting suspiciously, Greater Manchester Police said.
Stockport station was closed for about an hour following the arrest.
Hundreds of passengers were taken off trains while officers from British Transport Police were called in to search the surrounding area.
No details of “suspiciously behaving” passenger. No prizes for describing him.

Whatever else happens, no matter how much violence there is, we must not answer back with racism of our own! Anger is fine. Hatred of poor attitude is fine. Racism would make us just as bad as those who are racist towards us.
My concern with black people being racist towards brown people is that given the way they have been treated, they really should know better! It’s the same with the Israeli Jewish extremists. They should know better. But to hate blacks or Jews or anyone else in general is a form of “giving in” to baser and more destructive feelings that will not help us.

Is is just me, and it could be, or did two of the suspect pictures for the 21st attacks look like they had their skin colour lightened in the pictures that were issued? I’m thinking about the guy on the bus and the guy at the Oval.
It’s hard to believe anyone would do that deliberately but I couldn’t help thinking how much, um, blacker the suspects looked when arrested.

i have to admit a fair peice of work, BUT the only reason why asians get terrorised so much is because most of the time they develop trades that most english dont like, they take jobs,houses,benefits which i might add come out of our taxes, they have little respect for where they live, they litter, all of these things is why there is so much hatred english people dont want to be replaced and feel like they are not the priority anymore in thier own country its just not right.
