Boy knifes man to death over cigarette

A 16-year-old boy has been convicted of manslaughter after fatally stabbing a man in a row over cigarettes…..

Det Sgt John Fox from Greater Manchester Police said: “This has been a devastating incident for all of the people involved, especially Simon Davies’s family.

“It is terrible to think that Simon was killed over a disagreement over something as seemingly trivial as a cigarette.

“I hope today’s court result will show people how dangerous knives can be. It only takes one stab wound to take someone’s life and the consequences for both the offender and victim are vast.”

It strikes me that it’s cigarettes that are fucking dangerous, not knives!

Moving On

I am delighted to be growing up.

I have outgrown Blogger and am not (as it says at the bottom of the page), proudly powered by WordPress. Whatever.

I will rebuild the page gradually, so that it doesn’t look so bare. Soon.

In the meantime, go away and play with my favourite web sites of the moment:

You will thank me for the latter. Or just support my sponsors. Oh yeah, I don’t have any. We’ll fix that.

The President of Iran’s Letter To President Bush

Not a bad man actually

Please, read this. It’s long, but it is so very important.

I know it’s been around for a few weeks, but please, be honest with yourself. You owe it to yourself to be honest - how many of us have actually read the letter? So aren’t we prejudiced?

Please, for the sake of your loved ones, your children, yourself, for the sake of humanity, for the hope you might live a few more years to see some good times, stop letting the lies wash you down and their promises rust.

Please, read - and bolster your soul, or whatever it is you believe is you, against the incessant brainwashing we all endure on a daily basis.

Read this - and do your own research - and say “NO MORE!!” to President George W. Bush and Tony Blair, betrayers of great nations, their own and others.

Life’s What You Make It. Right?

We raced around Manchester Square on my BMX bike. At 6′4″, he utterly dwarfed it. After a few practice runs, he utterly battered my time. He wondered, back in the late 1980s, why he hadn’t bought a bicycle. It was utterly insane of course - and completely thrilling to be diving in and out of the flow of traffic whilst circumnavigating the square on a single speed pushbike with no lights in the middle of the night.

Champions League Muppets

That useless fake Gabby Logan is hosting the most important club game in the European calendar. I’ve written about her before of course, so I shall limit my diatribe somewhat. She still comes out with crap that only a fake could spout.

NTL SUCKS

I have a few stock responses to the NTL customer disservice drones when asked “Which ntl services do you have sir?”. The run along the lines of:

Somewhat surprised

Surprise:

Surprised that people are still reading my occasional posts.

Surprise that the BNP are being mentioned at all.

Surprise that Labour aren’t doing worse than they actually are in the polls.

Surprise that almost a year to the day after my life being so dramatically broken, I am about to go to LA to attend E3

This brings me to a worry - what if I get arrested and carted off to Gitmo? I mean, it’s not like it doesn’t happen!
