The Iranian leader has flown to Nuremberg not to be tried by some nutty Zionists, but for a football match. It’s odd how real tyrants are welcomed by Europeans (witness our government’s welcome of Pinochet) and those who have delivered a few controversial, but not completely unreasonable utterances get the full Hitler treatment.
To be fair, it’s the people who are unhappy with the actions of the government, much as a lot of us Brits were unhappy with Pinochet’s blood-soaked hands shaking the ermm, blood-soaked hands of our leaders back in the day…
From the BBC today:
Bavaria’s Interior Minister Gunther Bechstein described Mr Ahmadinejad as a criminal.
“If he comes to Germany, only his diplomatic immunity will save him from arrest,” he told the demonstrators.
Alex Delomann, a German Jew from Cologne said his great-grandparents were shot by the Nazis in Ukraine.
“I’m protesting against the Iranian government because I do not think it’s OK if somebody claims that my great-grandparents disappeared just like that,” he told the Associated Press news agency.
First, the Bavaria Interior Minister should know that Ahmadinejad, as far as I know, hasn’t done anything particularly bad as a leader yet, other than be part of the IAEA and allow inspectors in, unlike your buddies in Israel!
As for Alex Delomann, you’re having a laugh! Right? I mean, the Victorian British caused the deaths of millions of my ancestors in India through starvation, but I’m not going to hold Tony Blair responsible for that, no matter what he does against Muslims in Iraq. That generational guilt thing, you gotta let it go…
Alex, mate, you want to look a little closer to the homeland created for you, not interestingly enough in Germany, where it should have been, seeing as your countrymen were the perpetrators of one of many Holocausts of history. Why should your holocaust be any more worthy of attention than Pol Pot’s, or Stalin’s, or indeed, the British Empire of the 19th century? Look to your homeland created on the bodies of another displaced people. An eye for an eye eh, Alex? And you really don’t give a shit whose eye you would pluck either, any eye will do, right?
If you really want to see what Nazraelis, the powers behind your Nazi blue-and-white flag do, you could do worse than to visit the funeral of several children murdered by them on a beach during a picnic the other day. You’ve got a nerve protesting about your great-grandparents when children today are being murdered by your Nation of Nazis.
While you have the ear of the Bavarian Interior Minister, perhaps you should ask him to consider giving you a homeland where it should have been in the first place. Then you could stop the systematic torture, ethnic cleansing, displacement, execution, wholesale slaughter and total extermination of the Palestinian people. You could give up on your Final Solution for the Palestinians and move into your new home with its capital in Nuremberg.

Bravo! Ahmedinajad should tour the whole of Europe while he’s at…piss off as many of as may Zionist supporters as he can.

The hyprocisy of it all makes me sick. Israel is slaughtering muslims all over the world, directly and indirectly. The Israeli whores sitting in the white house are responsible for destroying a whole civilization in Iraq and Germany’s government cannot digest a few remarks made by Ahmedinajad.
Auuugh this really makes my blood boil, I hope Iran kicks their combined asses in the worldcup.

On a side note, whilst I don’t think Iran are likely to kick anyone’s ass in the World Cup, I make this prediciton:
The USA will be the most roundly bood football team to ever disgrace a football pitch. I hope whoever plays them goes at them in old skool style, ending careers with a well-timed two-footed scissor lunge aimed just above the knee.

So far, the US have been rammed more severely than Iran. The US require a vast array of security while in Germany. I don’t know about Iran. But these arrangements shouldn’t last longer than the first round, when the world happily waves goodbye to both of these teams as they return to their respective banana republics.

Well said David, in the world of football, both these teams assume their rightful place on the stage, as midgets.
