Excellent first podcast, sir!
While you referred to quite a few cunts Thatcher [Party 6pm, Trafalgar Square, first Saturday after she dies], the Queen and their ilk, I didn’t once hear the word ‘cunt’ expressed with similar venom to the way in which it is used in its written form, to great effect, on this blog.
I eagerly await podcast number 2.
This is truly THE BEST podcast I’ve have ever heard..and I have heard many. Shahid, you have totally and utterly outdone yourself. I sincerely hope you get well soon and continue writing but by no means should this be your only podcast. Make this a regular part of your blogging exercise.

Good idea to do a podcast. Nice to hear your voice Shahid. Thought you might sound a bit down considering your eye problems, but pleased to say you sounded ok, even in the ‘better not wake the wife’ tones. I swear I can waken my wife just by thinking never mind talking. Looking forward to Podcast #2.
A Sotto Voco rant – nice! Got to listen while doing the washing up. Maybe podcasts do have an advantage.
Nice to hear about the bagel shop – I still remember first time driving there, being shunted about by the one way system…
