I noticed this screaming piece in The Guardian today. I try not to let this sort of unbalanced and patently racist, daily drivel dampen my day, but I can’t help it. Injustice, lies, hypocrisy, murder and a complete disregard for human (usually Muslim or Arab) life kind of does that to me you know?
Earlier in the day Tom Phillips, Britain’s ambassador to Israel visited Sderot, “to understand the impact of these latest Qassam attacks and personally to express the sympathy of my government to the people of Sderot”. He said: “The Palestinians must stop these attacks. Israel … has the right to defend itself from such attacks against its civilians. But any response should be in accordance with international law …”
Fair play from the British Ambassador? Hardly. He sides with the racist Zionist occupying murderers. The Nakba-deniers. It doesn’t matter if Israel is right or wrong to Phillips.. There you are. The British fair-play myth busted. Palestinians must stop, Israelis have rights. End of.
Buried later in the article which humanised the poor suffering Sderotian beneficiaries of ethnic-cleansing was this little statistic:
She was the eleventh person to be killed by a rocket fired from Gaza at Israel in the last three years. Around 50 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli reprisals in the last week.
11 Israelis killed in three years by rocket fire.
50 Palestinians killed in the last WEEK.
The whole article tries to humanise the beneficiaries of murder, ethnic cleansing and illegal occupation in a way that makes me nauseous when I consider the plight of Palestinian children living in the concentration-camp that is Gaza. Why are Palestinians never human beings in the British press? Fair-play-myth of the British press busted. Again.
Meanwhile, Israeli leaders spout dangerous rhetoric about wiping out all of democratically elected Hamas, no doubt that rhetoric will soon to be backed up by American weaponry that will shatter yet more beleagured Gazan homes. They target Hamas leadership indiscriminately in the wake of Palestinian and Arab attempts to form a unity government whose raison d’etre was to engage with the Israeli junta in order to deliver some kind of paltry peace dividend. Of course, that was never meant to happen. Every time the Palestinians move towards peace, Israel responds with murder. Would it not be perfectly justifiable for Palestinians to respond in kind? Olmert with a Qassam up his arse would be a fine sight indeed.
Decadence manifests itself in many ways, the most recent example of which made me laugh with unhinged desperation. I refer not to the blaze on the Cutty Sark, but the outpouring of grief by the commenters, some of them crying over a tea clipper that they never saw! Many of the same people regard the deaths of millions of Muslims as statistics and make a mental note to consign such human suffering into the mental recycle bin marked “a necessary goodevil in the War on Terror”. More importantly, where was the grief from many of these people when the stormtroopers of the Zionaxis allowed thousands of years of Babylonian history to be looted and destroyed when they raced to protect the oil wealth they were about to plunder in Iraq?
Later today, there was a story in The Guardian of Israel. It shouldn’t surprise anyone to learn that the name of the Sderoti victim was actually given in the article, a courtesy that is never afforded to Palestinians, unless accompanied by the qualifier “militant” or “terrorist”.
Well right here, let’s redress some of the balance. I know that The Guardian of Israel is read by far more people than my blog, but somebody has got to stand up for the Palestinian dead, because the defenders and lovers of Israel, that nation whose collective soul will surely burn in Hellfire, timelessly, forever, will never let you know the names. First rule of propaganda. Humanise your side, no matter how wrong. Dehumanise the enemy. No matter how right.
On Sunday evening, the Zionist occupiers, the Nakba-deniers, in an ultimately fruitless attempt to ILLEGALLY target and assassinate a democratically elected Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayyah, “accidentally” murdered the following Palestinians, seven from the same family in a single missile strike:

Did they hit their intended target? (Targetted assassinations are a crime) - Or, did they miss again? I think they missed again. Oh.
You expect devious, evil behaviour from Israel, they are after all Zionists, just a couple of degrees removed from the Nazis and wholly unrepresentative of real Judaism. What is hard for me to swallow as a Brit is how hypocritical, evil and utterly disdainful my own government and press is. Even the supposedly left-wing press. If anything, the left-wing is worse in its hypocrisy. I’m not too surprised at Phillips. No doubt he sleeps well at night, counting the Palestinian murdered kids instead of sheep, before he nods of blissfully. One day he will wake up in Hell. Ablaze. And the Palestinian kids will say “he was the one who called us terrorists”.
You see, it really is a clash of civilisations. The question that I am finding increasingly easier to answer now, is which side is the “civilisation” and which side is tyrannical, evil, fascistic, hypocritical, dehumanising, degrading, decadent and barbaric.
