An Open Letter to Nasim Rehmatullah – American Qadiani/Ahmadi

by shahid on July 19, 2007

The DMCA (Takedown) Notice for my videos was filed by:

Ahmadlyya Muslim Community
Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah
National Vice-President USA
PO Box 219, Conneaut, Ohio 44030
440 725 8019
nrehmatullah@yahoo.com

So I wrote the following to him in response:

WITHOUT PREJUDICE

Dear Dr. Nasim,

YouTube has informed me that you filed a DMCA Notice under section 512 to have all of my videos removed. Under the DMCA Safe Harbor provision, YouTube duly removed my videos, giving me the opportunity to serve a counter-notification, which was entered on the 25th of June. Further to that, you had 10 business days to file a suit, which you failed to do.

I’m curious as to:

a) Why you filed the notice in the first place?
b) Under whose authority?
c) On what grounds?
d) Why you did not take legal action?
e) Why you used a yahoo account for your email address and not an official Ahmadiyya email address?

I believe that I am now in a position to pursue legal action against you, and I am considering my options, especially given the behaviour of some of your movement’s adherents towards me in recent months.

In the meantime, I’d be interested in your response to the above.

Regards,

Shahid Kamal Ahmad

I sent that last night. No response yet. I shall keep you posted.

In the meantime, devotees of the charlatan Mirza Ghulam Ahmad have spread all kinds of daft stories and made all kinds of suggestions, including the quite ludicrous idea that the whole thing was orchestrated by a bunch of his followers in London with backing from the centre and that they “spared” me legal action so as not to upset my family. What jokers and liars these people are.

I have no clue as to what your videos contained… What were they about, and were are they uploaded now?

shahid July 20, 2007 at 8:14 am

I’m sorry, you would have to have been a regular reader to know. Mu apologies for that. My videos are under the user name “shahidkamal” on youtube and they are about Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, founder of the Ahmadiyya.

just out of curiosity, what series of unfortunate events led you to take up the struggle against the forces of dorkness [sic]?

btw, i do not belong to the ahmadi faith (in fact i doubt i belong to any faith — to my wife’s eternal chagrin, and my preternatural silly grin).

shahid July 21, 2007 at 9:07 am

It’s a very, very long story. I haven’t finished writing it yet.

Hang in there.

Shahid,

Have you received any response from Dr. Nasim yet?

You don't want to know December 31, 2007 at 8:36 am

Did it go?

shahid December 31, 2007 at 11:57 am

Hi – no I didn’t hear back despite repeated attempts to contact him through direct and indirect channels. I’m not surprised of course.

These people prefer to attack me anonymously. As soon as they are exposed, they run a mile or hide. Given their bankrupt theology and cult-based system of money extraction, that isn’t surprising either.

In fact, recently it was brought to my attention by some old friends of mine from ahmedi.org that they were threatening my children by name if I didn’t stop writing against them. This is from the cult that preaches “Love for All, Hatred for None”.

And yes, I do want to know. :-)

I think you’re doing a fine job here. Please keep it coming. Its good that you’re getting more and more to know about Ahmadiyat.
And don’t just blog about it or post videos. Also pray in front of Allah with tears in your eyes every night until He listens to you. If He has an even ounce of love of Islam and His Prophet he should end these people and their religion, breaking them up and scattering them in the winds. Hopefully it will happen in your life. But if it doesn’t and they keep on growing then I want you to tell your children to keep of praying with the same vigor until Islam is free of them. If all of you pray with the most humble attitude there should be some results.

shahid January 22, 2008 at 10:08 pm

I don’t want these people to suffer, I want them to become Muslims.

Jamil Kirmani January 23, 2008 at 6:13 am

What will they gain from becoming Muslims?

Jamil Kirmani January 23, 2008 at 6:14 am

What will they gain from becoming Muslims considering that Muslims are the most hated creatures on the planet and for good reason too.

shahid January 23, 2008 at 6:42 pm

I take it you’re Qadiani? Only Qadianis hate Islam as much as you and that’s saying something!

Qasim January 28, 2008 at 4:30 am

U are right i am an ahmadii. Give me some evidence we are not true muslims

Qasim January 28, 2008 at 4:32 am

Pleezing One May 25, 2008 at 3:28 pm

Mirza Ghulam Qadiani’s real objective behind declaring Jihad canceled.

For those who think they follow TRUE ISLAM sgould realize that in Islam, no one can change or cancel Quranic commands in the slightest. Look what mirza qadinai did to please British occupiers India at that time. He declared Jihad Haram and prsented this as an evidence of his loyalty to British. Here is the refernce and transl;ation of his book.

Refernce: Roohani Khazine vol. 13,, Kitab al bariya pages 6-7-8-9-10

Quote:

“I hail from a family that is a firm well wisher of this Government. My father Mirza Ghulam Murtaza was viewed by government as a loyal and well wisher and was awarded a chair in the court of Governor and who is mentioned in Mr. Griffon?s ( book) History of Lords ( Raees) of Punjab. And in 1857 [pl. see foot note from pleeezing one] he helped the government beyond his means that is he provided them with 50 horses and fighters during the time of rebellion. Because of those services he received many letters of appreciation from authorities. I feel sorry that many of them have been lost but three letters that have been published are reproduced here in the footnote.?

(After that you see the letter of appreciation in English with Urdu translation side by side.)

{FN from Pleeezing One : This is referred as war of freedom by most in Sub-continent and certainly by Muslim clergy who viewed British rule as Christian occupation of Muslim rules in India. And as such declared fight against occupation as obligatory ? declared Jihad against occupiers. British and its collaborators call it Rebellion.}

After the death of my father and my brother, I was living my life quietly. However, I have been using the power of my pen in aide and support of English Sarkar. Whatever books I wrote during that period; all contained motivation for obedience and sympathy for English Sarkar and I wrote very effective speeches AGAINST JIHAD. And as a suitable strategy, in order to propagate this instruction of abrogation of Jihad, I authored books in Arabic and Farsi and spent thousands of rupees on their printing.

All those books were published in Arabia, Syrian countries, Rome (its Muslim Turkish Empire of the time), Egypt and Baghdad and Afghanistan. I am certain that these books will show their impact sometime. Do you expect such a huge work from someone who has rebellious thoughts? Then I ask whatever have I done for the protection and favour of English Sarkar and for seventeen years I zealously and firmly worked to stop JIHADI ideologies; can you show me an example of this work, this special service for such a long period from amongst those Muslims who are against me? If I did not publish those books as a true well wisher of English Sarkar, then what reward was I expecting by publishing those books in Syrian countries, Rome and other Islamic countries? This is not work of few days; rather its work of seventeen years. Here are all those books and booklets that contain those writings (against Jihad) with page numbers where well wishes and obedience of English Sarkar is mentioned. ”

Any doubts of what his intentions are?

The man was a traitor, plain and simple.

Majid Raheem June 9, 2008 at 4:54 am

I attended a few programs of qadianis and didn’t find them as I was told by my friends and you are talking about. In fact they pray as we do, and they believe in the Holy Prophet (sa) as we do, and they read quran. In fact they have a khalifa because of which they are extremely organized. My question is, if they are really on the wrong path, why are they getting stronger and stronger. And if they just to be muslims, why they struggle so hard to learn namaz and quran and live whole life as a true muslim? Is this just to show us, and live a whole life of acting? I don’t think all what you people are saying it true. Seems like it is out of extreme jealousy and hatred. Qadianis are not what you say they are.

And as for the Jihad, all my life I’ve been seeing mullah doing jihads against their governments. All they need is power. I’ve never ever seen them doing jihad against the evil. And as for jihad with sword, I never witnessed Allah coming to help them anywhere. This truly shows that their jihad in Allah’s eyes is not Jihad at all.

Majid Raheem June 9, 2008 at 4:58 am

And mullah are all liars, we all knows that. We need good scholars, who know where the world is going today and how to solve the problems Islam is facing today. But we don’t have them anywhere. So instead of wasting time on why your useless videos were removed, you should talk about how to fix the problems we’re having today.
