We in the West, while a country burns, what do we do?

We count.

We count the dead, at least those of us who think that Arab lives are worth the same as ours, even if we don’t essentially value them. (No, we don’t. Not until the apocalypse that is Iraq visits us could we understand the value of life.)

The rest of us? People like a couple of former “friends” who see Muslims as a dark threat and for whom a little knowledge is a dangerous, bludgeoning thing, people like Zionist Jews, who smear us with the blood-red-paint of anti-semitism while they gleefully make their neighbours burn in an all too-current-holocaust, well to them, Arab or Muslim blood has never been and never will have the same value as Zionist Jew blood or Western blood.

What do we do in the West, but count? Count the days to Christmas, the season to be evil. We huddle in our homes with our hoarded goods and call it good will. Meanwhile, the apparatus we support, the leaders we elected, carry on raining death on Muslim families.

We count. Over a million dead as a result of an illegal military occupation. Over four million displaced. This is a holocaust. The Jews said “Never again”. What they meant was “Never Again for Us”.

We count sheep, because we can’t sleep for fear of not making the mortgage payment or the next departmental cull. We count the minutes to the end of the day. We count the number of days innocent people should be detained without charge (because saying “6 weeks” is too close to saying “a month and a half”, which sounds like a prison sentence).

We count the days left to payday. We count the number of units of alcohol we’ve had this week. We? Not me.

We go along with our leaders with Israel’s hand up their backsides who spin the same lies for Iran that they did for Iraq. Common denominators? Islam and a complete lack of any WMDs. Friends of Israel? Not me. Those are the racists that dropped over a million cluster bombs (count ‘em!) in playgrounds and olive groves for children to find in Lebanon. Oh, but they’re Arab kids. So they don’t “count”.

We hear of another hundred human beings that think, eat, feel, love, hope and fear like us smashed to bits by another American bomb and we file it away under “Muslim barbarism”. Not me. I know, anyone barely conscious knows it as the work of Americans and Zionists and their agents. That’s what occupiers do. That’s what we did in Northern Ireland. You disagree because you believe in the myth that Muslims are barbarians, whilst we in the West are civilised. Fine. If it suits you. Me? I say your soul is Satan’s and Allah the Most High watches over all.

And He counts. He counts everything.
