BBC Not Cunts?

by shahid on March 6, 2008

Could it be that the BBC is finally getting a pair of balls?

Then again, maybe not, look where this story is buried…if you can find it…

(I will stop swearing one day, but it is currently my only weapon of resistance against evil. Rubbish excuse that, isn’t it? Still, in a few days time I will explain why I swear so much and once I’ve exorcised that little demon publicly, I will stop.)

Sometimes BBC articles have a gentle poke at their own obsequiousness:

“They are big, they are strong, and they have some of the most sophisticated weapons systems in the world. And they are struggling to stop rockets that are the lowest of low tech.

That is probably why Israeli deputy Defence Minister Matan Vilnai used the word holocaust last week to describe what would happen to the Palestinians if the rocket fire intensified.

His spin-doctor moved fast to say that the deputy minister, a retired major general, did not mean genocide. “

Take care of your kids. That is your job. Anti-jewish hatred is a pornography of the immature.

@Edwin, don’t be patronising and also, check my rules, especially the second one.

I am Muslim. It’s not Muslims who have a history of anti-semitism and neither do I. Don’t presume to tell me what my fucking job is. I know what my job is. I do it the best way I can.

@DE: I guess it depends on the writer. The BBC has lost its balls since Greg Dyke resigned along with a bunch of other decent staff. Since then, it toes the Zionist line. Interestingly, the Guardian seems to be writing some decent pieces again. Maybe they have got some balls back too, but I doubt it.
