Ground Zero Mosque

First things first, it’s not at Ground Zero and it’s not just a mosque, but we won’t let the facts get in the way of a headline that stokes fear and hatred and thus increases profit.

For years, on this blog, I’ve been banging on about a single major theme, that Islamophobia is just racism in fancy dress. Whichever way you spin it, those who are willing to tar 1BN+ of the world’s population with the same brush that Muslims themselves use to tar extremists are little more than bigots. Sadly, bigots sell papers and that means money.

It’s getting easier to spot who the enemies of peace are. (I don’t use that in the Orwellian sense of the expression.) Take the BBC for example. For many years, they’ve been exhibiting a shocking degree of pro-Israeli bias and recently, distortions and sloganeering have become Minitrue’s stock-in-trade.

Take the latest story for example –  ”Attempt to block ‘Ground Zero mosque’ fails” – so first I have to ask why they’ve spun the headline this way? Why promote the “attempt to block”? Why is that more important than the right to build that mosque, legally granted? The Guardian for example, reports the headline much more accurately thus – “Mosque near 9/11 site likely to go ahead despite rightwing fury“

The level of bigotry around this issue has been absolutely hysterical. So absurd that I’m expecting Jeremy Beadle to jump out at some point, but the scary thing is, he never does.

The BBC reports that “Some relatives of 9/11 victims are against the building of a mosque”, well yeah, they’re probably bigoted racists, or more likely, they’ve been provoked and stoked and poked with the same racist propaganda that pervades the entire Western media like the millions of Israeli cluster munitions still scattered over South Lebanon.

Sarah Palin, that paragon of intellect even coined a new word for it, “refudiate“. I shudder when I think how stupid our American cousins have become that they can throw this complete idiot of a politician up into the stratosphere, but that’s only because there is a residual Shahid that still looks up to America. That’s the one who used to embroider NASA patches as a kid to sew onto his jackets. If I didn’t look up to America, I’d be talking about Asif Zardari, probably the biggest crook to take power anywhere in the world since Idi Amin.

What has happened to America and the West, that once tolerant people celebrate the deaths of millions of Muslims whilst Zionistically claiming martyr status? What happened to such people that their values of tolerance and mutual understanding allowed them to equate extremists and terrorists with over a billion law-abiding, decent Muslims? What happened to these people that they allow their mainstream magazines to start talking about oil and gas contracts in Iraq without addressing the context of over a million deaths and four million refugees created through an illegal act of aggression on a scale the world has never left unpunished before?

People in the West have been whipped up into an acceptable state of bigotry, demonisation and self-justified vengeance by the same elites who stole their futures in the first place and who are now demanding payment for their mistakes. It’s utterly insane and it shocks me that more people don’t see it.

This is a time when opportunists come to the high-table, begging for scraps. Once again, the heretical Ahmadiyya cult has jumped into the same bed as the Palinists and the Gingrichites, the Shlussels and the Foxmans.

That’s right, the ADL, sworn to protect Israel and bring America down whilst doing so, the true defenders and spokespeople of dual-loyalists, has come out against the mosque and Islamic community centre too. The shocking thing about the ADL’s opposition is that the sentiment expressed, the words used, the rhetoric employed, almost exactly mirrors that used by the Ahmadiyya.

Way to go Mirzologists. Whilst Muslims were never in doubt about your hatred of Muslims, now the tolerant non-Muslims are aware of your agenda too.
