The Shame of the Gatekeepers

by shahid on September 21, 2008

Blown up 30 Bus

I feel like Charlton Heston’s character “Taylor” did in the Planet of the Apes. You remember, that upside-down world where apes ruled over men? Our world seems like that nowadays.

On occasion I read the excellent forum of the J7 Truth team and find some of the contributors distasteful, because they epitomise some of the characters in the world Taylor found himself in. If you remember the scene when Taylor tries to defend himself in front of the ape court and gets the now legendary “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil” response from the judges, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

See no evil, Hear no evil, speak no evil

I read the hostility and name-calling, realising dejectedly that these people are “mainstream” influencers. It gets me a little down.

I’ve been trying to work out why, but until today, no single sentence encapsulated the dysphoria that engulfed me every time I read some intellectual lightweight or faux-left gatekeeper spew forth a hasbara parrot-like response to anyone who dared question the risible short-story that is the “official narrative of 7/7″.

Let’s take a ludicrous diversion for the sake of analysis with an extract of Popular Mechanics’ Editorial response to the “demolition theory”, taken from the Editorial Notes section of the print version, and absent from the on-line version:

[T]hose who peddle fantasies that this country encouraged, permitted or actually carried out the attacks are libeling the truth — and disgracing the memories of the thousands who died that day.

The 9/11 Truth movement does have its problems and the biggest is that it puts its stake in the ground - several stakes and several pieces of ground come to think of it.

The J7 Truth team, despite enormous pressure and to its immense credit, has never backed an alternative theory of what happened and so cannot be smeared with the label “conspiracy theorists” (or more derisively by certain self-obsessed, self-aggrandising and shrill commentators, “conspiraloon“, a tag which has been playfully adopted by a small, but growing band of wonderful people, including me of course…)

Regardless of the various positions of the various 9/11 Truth movements and notwithstanding the possibility that some of these are gatekeepers, plants and other shady so-and-sos, the Popular Mechanics sentiment comes across as shrill, divisive and pejorative. Why would anyone seeking the truth be “disgracing the memories of the thousands who died that day”?

Since when did it become offensive to memory to ask what really happened? I mean, is it offensive to Jill Dando’s memory that Barry George has after many years of asking questions about what really happened been released from prison?

Was it offensive that the Guildford Four or the Birmingham Six or the Tipton Three were released? Is it justice these gatekeepers want or blood? I suspect the latter.

Take this series of quotes from someone in TV, taken from the forum:

Don’t have nightmares about the boogie man coming to get you. Except you Bridget, difficult to get out of your head I guess, once someone’s mentioned it …

The above is a quite shocking, personal and frankly, sinister thing to say to someone, especially to a lady. Imagine the outcry if someone had said something along those lines to the daughter of Norfolk, the darling of the gatekeepers; a lady whose name I cannot mention for fear of getting sued or stalked or worse?

Then this character goes on to edit a post and attributes the following “edit” to “The Antagonist“, doing the gatekeeper/Zionist thing of calling anyone who asks questions an anti-Semite.

Disgusting language I’m sure you agree. We do not allow people to be nasty about the July 7th bombers here, heck they were only doing what they thought was right. And we do not allow racism either. Except against the Jews of course. We don’t like them at all.

Funny that he should make this accusation when he himself is guilty of racist hatred with the following gems in the same thread:

And also that the filth who gave them succour and help are safely behind bars weeping into their pillows every night and praying to Allah that they don’t drop the soap in the shower.

Since 2005, thousands of Afghans and tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of innocent Muslims have died as a result of the Crusade. On an atrocity scale, I would reserve the tag “filth” for some of those mass-murderers and if the above is true, and let’s face it, being done for having a CD that you didn’t even load and the contents of which are available on American servers is hardly a crime worthy of comparison to dropping a thermobaric bomb onto a wedding, then the tag “misguided” might be more appropriate.

Why the reference to “Allah”? This guy is not a Muslim, the reference is made as a barb against Islam in general. It’s a technique used by a lot of these gatekeepers using hasbara techniques. As for racism, well surely, “Muslims are not a race” means it’s OK to condemn the lot of them, right?

I’ll let the incendiary and insightful Dr. M answer this one:

Lie#612 : Islam isn’t a race hence abuse of Muslims is in no way or form racist.

My, my, my, aren’t they so very clever? Insistence that Islam isn’t a race and therefore representations of Islam cannot be racist is disingenuous rubbish. Religion is not only about faith but also about identity, background and culture, and Muslims are overwhelmingly non-white. In the mind of the hate mongers, Islam is a religion of non-whites and white race traitors. They see black skin and head scarves the same way. Being Jewish used to be simply a religious identity. With the rise of capitalism, it was transmuted into a racial one. What we are seeing today is the opposite process with Islam. If we must be so asinine as to insist upon using skin color as a determinant of race, I would ask why the Muslims represented in Islamophobic filth never EVER look like Indonesian Muslims, even though it is the most populous Muslim country on the planet. The reason is simple: Muslims are seen and stereotyped as a “race,” especially as dark skinned, unkempt Arabs and Pakistanis.

I’ve said this myself in the past of course, but Dr. M says it better.

There is more disgusting and personal stuff from a man who claims to be intelligent and rational:

You’re right of course Bridget, they are all out to get you. Mooslims, the police, Baader Meinhoff, the Russians. I don’t know how you sleep at night for worrying, I should be careful a bear doesn’t leap on you while you’re wiping your arse.

(Emphasis mine). Again, is this how you talk to a lady? And the reference to “Mooslims”, well that makes me cringe in the way that a white guy who doesn’t know me very well saying “nigger” or “paki” does. (Not that I’m suggesting APed is white, I haven’t a clue and don’t care either way)

Then this kind of sinister and distasteful veiled threat:

Blimey, you lot are paranoid enough as it is, don’t want to tip you over the edge and cause some kind of nasty shotgun in the mouth incident!

And the personal tirade against Bridget continued:

Good grief woman, your level of paranoia is around about certifiable levels. It’s a wonder you feel able to walk around in public. I hope they don’t put you in chanrge of any heavy machinery at that factory of yours.

Bridget, to her immense credit, did not rise to the bait, despite filth like this:

That Bridget girl, do you think she’s…y’know…quite right in the head? No really, I’m not being mean, I’m trying to be understanding. I mean something must have made her all stressy. Do you think she might be in serious need of a man?

More proportion from the Islamophobe:

They’re dead thank God and the vermin that helped them out, like this shit for brains Khalid Khaliq and Babar Ahmad (look them up in Wikipedia - what nice people they are!) got banged up and - with luck - got severely sliced for their efforts by some East End gangster or two.

This kind of baiting and hating isn’t new. What is perplexing is that these people think anyone who questions the official version of events deserves this kind of vitriol and to coin a phrase (not my language) “shits on the graves of the dead”.

“Once a government resorts to terror against its own population to get what it wants, it must keep using terror against its own population to get what it wants. A government that terrorizes its own people can never stop. If such a government ever lets the fear subside and rational thought return to the populace, that government is finished.”

Michael Rivero

I don’t know what happened on 7/7. It might well be that the men who are accused of suicide bombing themselves and 52 innocent people were really guilty. It might be that they were not. I don’t believe that a government who lied to take us to war and is therefore guilty of the most heinous crime is beyond withholding the truth about any other important matter.

What I refuse to take part in is some bizarre conflation of Islam with 7/7 or any other terrorist incident, which is what the gatekeepers like APed want (otherwise why keep referring to religion and Islam and terrorism?)

In every discussion I’ve seen, the hatred and the propaganda and the smears and the threats come only from gatekeepers and mainstream media figures.

So the sentence? What was the thought that helped me to reverse the upside-down world? It is simply this:

Those people who do not question power, when that very power has lied to us and stripped us of our liberties and stolen our wealth, it is they who disgrace the memories of those who died.

Jean Charles de Menezes

Like the innocent Jean Charles de Menezes, the inquest of whose execution starts tomorrow, they deserve the truth.

9/11 and Selective Grief

by shahid on September 11, 2008

So when we grieved today over the approximately 3,000 people who lost their lives 7 years ago today, did we remember to grieve for the million who have lost their lives in Afghanistan, Iraq and Palestine because of Anglo-American/Israeli blood lust and revenge?

Or is Muslim blood not worth the same as Western blood?

Do you shed a tear when a lying bully sells and tells their fake tale in the Western media?

Whilst turning a blind eye to children your tax money has killed?

Ramadan Mubarak!

by shahid on August 31, 2008

Ramadan Mubarak to all of my readers.

Here’s a link to last year’s post on the subject, nearly all of which still applies.

In previous years, the fasting period (from dawn to dusk), was short enough for me to keep some fasts. This year, Ramadan has shifted towards the back end of summer and therefore the fasting period is a challenging 16 hours. Given my diabetes, it would be crazy for me to try and keep the fast and then wrestle control of my condition in the 8 hours that remain of the day (or rather, night). So I’m disappointed, but I won’t be fasting.

Ramadan didn’t used to mean much to me as a Qadiani, but since I have been a Muslim, it has been an uplifting experience. I feel connected to every Muslim on the planet, of every race and background. (Qadianis are connected only to a Punjabi subgroup, because despite their best efforts and the support of Western media and governments, Islam and even other groups are highly resistant to this heretic creed). Of course, Qadianis do fast, and I do pray that those who love the part of Qadianism that takes its core from Islam, will be guided to truth and revert to Islam when they realise just how divergent Islam and Qadianism are.

Islam is vibrant today, because despite rampant Islamophobia, more and more people are drawn to Islam and indeed, are becoming Muslims by the day. The dark(!) picture painted of Muslims in the Western media doesn’t very often tally with the reality. For starters, Islam is way too diverse and confusing for most people to grasp. Sure, modern-day Orientalists, some of whom are faux-left-wing bloggers thrown up to media-stardom level by a system that clearly hasn’t a clue, have tried to pin this label and that on us, completely missing the point - that despite many differences, Muslim people have more in common with each other than their rulers and dividers would like to portray.

In this holy month, Muslims will be fasting and doing their best to be as “good” as they can. We will be reciting Al Qur’an, we will be praying taraweeh, we will make dhikr, we will attempt to minimise our bad habits and increase our good ones. We will be kinder to neighbours, we will be more loving to our parents and our children. We will call for peace and denounce oppression and tyranny.

What is it about my Islam that you still find threatening?

America Run by Crazy Zionist Jews

by shahid on August 17, 2008

Actually, America is also heavily influenced by Crazy Zionist Christians, but it is currently Israel that America serves, only most Americans don’t know this.

You will see the heroic soldiers of the Israeli Occupation Force breaking the limbs of dangerous, stone-throwing children, who throw stones because their families are butchered and their land is occupied and they live in open concentration camps and nobody really cares.

A while back I worried whether I was being over the top when comparing Israel to the Nazis. I no longer see this as an untenable position, given that much more respected commentators, both American and even Israeli, use the same parallels.

1000 Palestinian Children Murdered

by shahid on August 8, 2008

Since 2000, over a thousand Palestinian children have been murdered by the Zionist occupation. Quite a few have been no more than ten years old, going to school when an Israeli Occupation Force bullet has been fired deliberately into the centre of their forehead.

Bereaved father, Bassam Aramin, talks about the true spirit of Islamic justice in heart-breaking eloquence:

They have killed our children, Hussam. What can we do but fight on? We will never lay down our arms. For despite the advanced military technology and deadly force that we face, it is we who posses the most dangerous weapons of all. These are the weapons of morality and justice. We will not surrender these in the face of brutality, and we will be steadfast in demanding justice for our children. Ahmed and Abir’s murderers must be judged and sentenced as criminals. Let me be clear: we do not seek revenge. Justice for our beloved, dead children will not be served by the murder of a young Israeli girl in front of her school, or by the murder of a young Israeli boy by a bullet to the head. We will refuse to mirror the violent means of the occupation. You and I, and every Palestinian, must let our morals and our humanity and the teachings of our great faith be our guides.

No Western media outlet talks about the scale of child murder in Palestine, because of the most negligent apathy and institutional racism it is possible to imagine. A kind of deliberate nudge-nudge-wink-wink blindness, hand-in-hand with their Jewist allies, against the Arab terrorist Mozlem scum of the earth who need to be ground into the dust under the jackboots of glorious ashkeNAZI defenders of the blood-soaked earth that was never really Israel.

In the meantime, the Hasbara parrots and their “Anglo-Saxon” admirers prolong the suffering by placing the blame firmly at the door of the people whose doors have been blasted in (along with the rest of their shack and resident family) in the concentration camp that is Gaza by a Zionist missile. In the meantime, only the brave few from the Western world (and occupied Palestine, i.e. Israelis) are brave enough to speak truth to evil.

The only reason the politicans and the mainstream media of the “Christian West” turns the other cheek is to turn a blind eye. After 60 years of hypocrisy and wilful negligence, patchy sight seems to be returning to some quarters of the media, if not our craven, shameless, lying, murdering, collaborating, fascist “leaders.”

What Holocaust?

by shahid on July 31, 2008

Palestinian boy's arm cut off by Jewish settlers

Palestinian boy's arm cut off by Jewish settlers

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/video/2008/jul/30/beaumont.palestine

Start by having a look at the above video. A lot of us have seen some of this footage before. (I saw the illegal settler child spitting at the caged Palestinian woman last year, as did many others).

What gives this footage power now is that it is featured in the Guardian. This is a shift. I’m not sure I’m smart enough to figure out why it’s suddenly OK to show the Israeli occupation for the  murderers-with-no-connection-to-the-holocaust that they are, but if more people in the UK can wake up to what’s been going on since the nakbah of 1948, then perhaps we are witnessing the birth of a genuinely unified movement against the oppression of the murderous Zionist regime, in the same way that the anti-apartheid movement of the ’80s and early ’90s built up steam to become a truly global phenomenon.

That movement achieved success through a serious of crippling boycotts against South African business directly, and those that did business with the Apartheid regime indirectly. It’s much harder to achieve the same result now that the economies of the world are so inter-dependent and particularly when the Zionist-controlled USA is so ready to kill more if its children (in illegal wars that serve Zionist interests) and bankrupt more of its people (to fund the illegal wars that serve Zionist interests) to support Israel.

I often wonder why the truth of the holocaust visited on the Palestinians over 60 years is so ignored by the media here and I can only think of a few things actually:

1. They actually don’t think that the Palestinians are worth as much as the  Zionist terrorists. We’ve already heard our own Zionist embarrassment Maureen (Oberst) Lipman confess to as much and not be pulled up on it. Here’s what she said in  2006 in case you’ve forgotten:

“What’s proportion got to do with it? It’ s not about proportion is it? Human life is not cheap to the Israelis. And human life on the other side is quite cheap actually because they strap bombs to people and send them to blow themselves up”.

2. They are embarrassed about the fact that the state of Israel was founded by repeated acts of terrorism and that Britain (King David Hotel) cravenly caved in. So suddenly, a land with people (Arab Palestine) was purged of those people (ethnic cleansing) through the agency of Zionist terror gangs (stormtroopers, terrorists) and replaced with Jews. A land was taken away from its people by a third party and given to another. Imagine of America decided to give Britain away to the Gypsies.

3. They hate Palestinians and Arabs and Muslims. This is obvious from the blatant bias towards the terrorist state of Israel for several decades and the constant rewriting of history to present the Israelis as perpetual victims, living in the shadow of another holocaust, despite being the most heavily armed (NUKES!) country in the Middle East. All the while, ignoring the actual holocaust that continues to this day.

4. They created this mess and for that reason, they have to carry on lying and can never accept that they’re wrong. Even if it means collusion in genocide. What holocaust? Who said “Balfour”?

It’s a shocking conclusion. Only racism and hatred, concealed by weasel words and self-assuring chicanery can produce such a distorted picture of the reality of the holocaust in Palestine. Decade in, decade out, same old same old. And it works. Most people in this country think that the illegal settlers are Palestinians!

it goes right to the top. Our Prime Minister, Gordon BrNWO, surely not an uneducated man got to address the Knesset, on his knees. How embarrassing that he is our country’s representative. How embarrassing that such a holocaust-denying racist Zionist can ignore the wholesale theft and disaster of the last 60 years. He only speaks for hateful racists, not for decent people who care about the truth. (Whose side are you on?)

Only racism, hatred and sheer evil can explain the unprecedented bias displayed by our media and our leaders.

Muslims on Top

by shahid on June 23, 2008

The top ten thinkers in the world today are Muslims!

Fethullah Gulen

In a poll conducted by Prospect, a British magazine, of a hundred of the world’s top thinkers, the top ten were Muslims. Alhamdulillah! This is especially surprising considering the poll was jointly hosted by Foreign Policy, a US publication. Of course, the value of such a poll is dubious when proven intellectual frauds like Ayaan Hirsi Ali make the top 20 ahead of he likes of Vaclav Havel, Niall Ferguson and even the spineless apostate Salman Rushdie.

Still, it’s great to see Muslims on top, ousting rabid right-wing wannabes like Christopher Hitchens - who once was left-wing, but having never outlived or outclassed Gore Vidal, resorted to the journalism of convenience and dipped his nib in the vitriolic ink of hypocrisy and hatred that represents the majority of the West’s Islamophobic media machinery today.

So here we have it, the top ten, led by a guy I’ve never heard of…

  1. Fethullah Gulen
  2. Muhammad Yunus
  3. Yusuf al-Qaradawi
  4. Orhan Pamuk
  5. Aitzaz Ahsan
  6. Amr Khaled
  7. Abdolkarim Soroush
  8. Tariq Ramadan
  9. Mahmood Mamdani
  10. Shirin Ebadi

Nice especially to see two of my favourite Islamic writers in that list. (I won’t tell you who they are). Two of that list are also Nobel laureates. Interesting things happening in Turkey these days and I don’t just mean their football team reaching the semi-finals of Euro 2008, though I must confess to having cheered loudly when they equalised against the prematurely euphoric Croatia.

Oh by the way, no Qadianis in the top 100. Funny that. I tried to think of a solitary Qadiani thinker. I failed. You see, they don’t think. Because if they did, they wouldn’t be Qadiani anymore now, would they?

Who is Killing the Internet in the Middle East?

by shahid on February 5, 2008

Undersea CableOf all sources, Engadget reports that the undersea cable cutting going on in the Med is getting suspicious.

For the fourth time in a week, an undersea communications cable in the Mediterranean Sea has apparently been cut, and while no official reports of subversion have surfaced just yet, things are beginning to get suspicious. Flag Telecom, a subsidiary of Indian conglomerate Reliance ADA Group, has had two cables damaged in the span of a week — a quandary it has never dealt with until now. As it stands, traffic from the Middle East and surrounding areas is being routed through various other cables in an attempt to remain online, but any more snips and we could be dealing with ping times eerily similar to those seen in 1993 (or much, much larger issues).

I’m also a little suspicious about the constant cable cutting shenanigans resulting in limited or no Internet access in the Middle East, but leaving a certain, apartheid, racist, lying, bullying, oppressing, tyrannical shit of a country untouched.

These cables are not easy to cut. They have to be deliberately damaged. It has to be sabotage. Cable cut once, could be an accident. Unlikely, but possible. Twice, thrice and erm, frice….that’s deliberate. The question is, what would be so big as to require no comms getting out of Iran, for example?

Who would want to stop any information flowing out of the Middle East in the event of some kind of attack? Couldn’t be Israel and the USA, could it?

Every country that has dumped, or talked of dumping the rapidly dying and soon-to-be-bankrupt dollar has been in the cross-hairs of the Bush administration and the Islamophobes around the world. Now that the UAE wants out, or rather, is on the road to exit through a re-valuation, maybe it’s being given a few warning slaps?

The world could suddenly be plunged into a new era of darkness through yet another false-flag operation. I shudder to think of the kind of atrocities that might go unreported without people having the power of the Internet. And just think, most of the public will buy the same old lies that they did in the aftermath of 9/11. They got away with killing over a million in Iraq and ethnically cleansing the rest, without the Internet, I’m sure they’d happily nuke Iran - and worse!

At first, I wondered if these cables being cut wouldn’t also take out Israel, but guess what? Apparently not!

Subvert the Dominant Paradigm

by shahid on January 28, 2008

Subvert the Dominant Paradigm

My good friend and writer of the wonderful Minority Report blog went to America oh, a few decades back and came back with the memory of a car bumper sticker that read “Subvert the Dominant Paradigm”. Genius. It took me until Islamophobia in the West assumed the rhetorical position of Nazism before I finally began to understand its full meaning.

I don’t usually like to chuck away dominant paradigms. One of them is the paradigm of an unshifting ground beneath your moving body. It’s kind of helpful to go about one’s daily life knowing that when you plant your next footfall, you will not end up spiralling through space or falling to the earth’s core.

A more obvious example would be the idea that what goes up, must come down. Assuming of course that whatever it is doesn’t exceed the escape velocity of the earth’s gravitational field of about 25,000 mph (you can tell I remembered that and didn’t have to google it - I’m using imperial measurements). And what goes down, usually goes down pretty quickly and depending on the height it starts from, breaks. It’s what stops most people stepping off the top of buildings to avoid having to take the stairs. Combine that with the first paradigm and you have the ability to walk to your nearest bus stop without questioning the world around you with every step.

A less sensible paradigm is that all Muslims are terrorists. Let’s face it. I’ve just strengthened that bond, just by juxtaposing those two words, haven’t I? I mean, don’t most people now think “terrorist” first, when they hear Muslim, even if they don’t actually feel that way? It’s a lousy paradigm and one which after just a little pondering, proves itself to be a construct of media hype and government agendas.

A more controversial paradigm, but one which is most strongly associated with extremists is evolution. Extremists like Dawkins for example. I think evolution is broken. I’ve tried to understand it, but it makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

Evolution doesn’t explain how life started.

Evolution doesn’t explain how incredibly complex systems came to be after a series of incremental, random mutations in genetic code. I remember reading an explanation by Dawkins of how an eye could evolve in stages. It all made sense until you worked out the odds.

It’s like saying that enough earthquakes would eventually create magnificent architecture or more accurately, that an earthquake would introduce a positive genetic enhancement to the Sydney Opera House.

It’s like saying that flying enough aeroplanes into enough buildings would eventually cause buildings to strengthen against such attacks by themselves.

It doesn’t explain how fish came to the land. Assuming that we have finally rejected Lamarckian dogma for the twaddle that it was, then organisms cannot know what will be a useful mutation and should not be able to pre-adapt so that their organs are already fully formed before they leave their old, watery environment to make their home on dry land.

Even natural selection doesn’t always mean “survival of the fittest”, otherwise you wouldn’t get animals protecting the weak amongst their own.

How did they know they were meant to be almost 50% as strong again to withstand gravity? How did their gills become lungs? How did their fins, disconnected from their spines in the case of the closest possible match, become connected to their spines and form new bones to become feet? How did the open excretion systems turn into complete kidneys, miracles unto themselves? How did their skin adapt to cope with ultraviolet rays? And why didn’t the alleged transitional forms die out as interim models, with partly formed organs as not optimal for sea or land? And how did the mutations, hundreds and thousands of them, all happen in a single lifetime?

Bollocks.

Someone explain why the fossil record shows not a single transitional form, despite us now having gazillions of fossils to study from all over the world.

Someone explain why evolutionists and paleontologists come up with so many fakes in order to posit a missing link and always fail? Why so much fraud in the name of science?

Someone explain why the fossil record shows species appearing as if fully formed, without any predecessor forms?

Someone explain the Cambrian Explosion!

Someone explain why the “tree of evolution” is almost upside down, with no intermediate forms alive today and with the current forms unchanged in some cases for millions upon millions of years.

Someone explain why despite repeated experimentation on drosophila, not a single useful mutation has ever been observed?

Someone explain why every time a species has any kind of mutation, it is always to its detriment?

Someone explain why so many evolutionists are fundamentally dogmatic and extreme by nature.

Look, I’m no scientist, I posit no alternative and my current scepticism is in no way related to my religion. I’m also definitely not in the same boat as guys like this. Evolution is scientific, clearly, lots of clever people buy into it, but they haven’t communicated it very well.

I would just like a scientist to show me where I’m going wrong. Nicely. Without doing a Dawkins on me and my religion. When I see Islamophobic frauds like Aayan Hirsi Ali selling their books on Dawkins’ home page, I kind of wonder about the agenda, you know? Lying cow!

The same fuckers that call Islam a religion of terror are eager to back the random idea of evolution with missionary zeal. That makes me suspicious.

Subvert the dominant paradigm!
